These parents came from lines of intelligence and beauty. Both parents are good, solid working collies. They have no
skin problems, hip dysplasia, bloat problems, nor neurological problems such as the barking problem. They are loyal and assertive
yet gentle with children and livestock. They carryout guard duty, round up stock, and assist in catching the
occasional stray chicken. Not an easy task. Since temperatures here sometimes reach 100, their coats are purposely thinned
and shortened in the summer for their comfort. By midwinter they are back in full coat. The following pictures
are taken very recently to give potential new owners of our puppies a true look at the parents.

Saint Nick, a white factor sable male. He's 5 years old, large, 85lbs, yet good agility. He responds well to both voice
commands as well as hand signals. If dogs have an extra sense that people don't have, this one truly shows it. He once brought
us to where rat poison was left under a seat at a cabin we were staying with my 1 year old daughter. And once he
excitedly led me away from under a tree that immediately after dropped an 8" diameter limb where I was working. Hence
the name, Saint Nick. His lineage includes Lady Di's, Vee Gee, Windsor, and Tartanside
